Yahoo News was the most visited U.S. news site in April, market research Experian Hitwise said in its latest report on the online News and Media industry. Yahoo! News accounted for 7.69% of traffic, The Weather Channel - US came in second at 3.97%, MSNBC third at 3.49%. CNN.com was only 4th at 2.92% and Google News fifth at 2.34%. 7. The average visit duration for visits to the online 'News and Media' industry was 7 minutes, 50 seconds for the month of April, 2010 – slight decrease from last months average visit duration of 7 minutes, 57 seconds.
